Aeronautical Container Project

T.M. has created a completely customized TMcon destined for the Grazzanise Military Airport in Caserta where the 9th Wing “Francesco Baracca” of the Italian Air Force is stationed.

Ad hoc measures for this special container, insulated and air-conditioned and complete with internal and external lighting, particular attention was paid to the safety systems, including the alarm, fire and smoke control system which have a dedicated safety control unit.

A UPS guarantees the continuity of both the safety control unit and all the MT auxiliary systems.

The transformation container will guarantee the transformation of the current from medium to low voltage through a transformer embedded in class F epoxy resin with a nominal power of 1250 kVA, no-load voltage settable at 20, 9 or 6 kV and secondary of 400V (±5%).

A special control unit inserted in the three-panel medium voltage switchboard takes care of the transformer by managing its interventions and temperature alarms thanks to a thermometer in the chamber, and thermometers for the windings, to maintain the right balance two extractors for forced ventilation.
