Edison Porto Viro Project: TMsec in delivery

Italy responds to the energy crisis with short-term emergency measures aimed primarily at requalifying abandoned or underused plants. One of these plants is the Porto Viro (RO) Thermoelectric Power Plant, active from 1995 to 2003, which today is resurrected to return to producing 125MW.

T.M. will provide
two utility power cabins,
one of which is fully equipped.

with TMsec, TMpower, Resin Transformer and UPS

The Porto Viro thermoelectric plant is composed of a gas turbine, coupled to an alternator, a recovery steam generator, a steam turbine coupled to its alternator and a water-cooled condenser.

The medium voltage current is fed into the TMsec panel that will direct it to a 630KVA resin transformer responsible for its conversion to low voltage, the low voltage will in turn be redistributed inside the cabin by a TMpower panel. One of the TMpower users will be reserved for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) responsible for maintaining the auxiliary services, also supplied by T.M..

The TMsec panel itself, for the 24KV air-insulated secondary distribution, left the Pagazzano headquarters today for the Edison plant awaiting completion of the supply.
