Mobile substations
Prefabricated Mobile Substations are the transportable alternative to conventional high and medium voltage substations and can include one or more line or transformation bays inserted on one or more semi-trailers (or “skid” bases) that are easily transportable and of variable length depending on the requirements of the system to be built. They are modular plug and play solutions and in addition to transportability, they guarantee rapid installation on site.
They can work as backup cooperating with already operational units, as temporary solutions during extraordinary maintenance of existing substations, but over time they have demonstrated that they can be absolutely reliable even in critical environments even in total replacement of traditional substations.
T.M. offers itself to its customers as a company specialized in the complete “turnkey” assembly of High and Medium Voltage Mobile Substations usually including: HV/MV transformer, auxiliary transformer, command and control panels, medium voltage panels and control panels.
The whole is assembled and tested in the workshop in order to optimize the commissioning times in the plant. The Mobile Substations are suitable for transport and installation in a single block.
